Bonnie Mae Okun

She was born on December 30, 1943 to Bernard and Shirley Dolgin and grew up in Chicago, IL with her two sisters, the late Judy (John) Kane and Wendy (Jim) Cash.

She is survived by her children Dean (Vanessa) Okun, Randi (Spencer) Kowal and Amy (Joseph) Lomanto, grandchildren Samantha, Karli and Avery Valenta, Hayden and Dylan Kowal, Mallory and Ty Irizarry. Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gilbert.

Bonnie loved more than anything to spend her time with her husband Gil. They were active members of Marriage Encounter, Family Encounter and lead groups for Young Adult Encounter. They also enjoyed time with friends in their Couples Club, neighbors, cousins and their nieces and nephews. Bonnie loved watching game shows, playing Mah Jongg and reading books of all genres.

A memorial will be planned for a later date.
