Born in Cleveland, Bev eventually made her home in Brook Park, where she raised her family.
She held a deep passion for the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), where she dedicated over 30 years of service as the Commissioner of girls' sports. Bev also enjoyed a decades long career as a trusted Bookkeeper for various organizations.
She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her lively spirit, her unwavering loyalty to Cleveland sports, and her extensive, cherished bear collection. She was known for being a passionate and competitive Bingo player, Polka music lover, and with a remarkable talent for arts & crafts.
Above all, Bev’s greatest joy was her family. She adored her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Bob Symanski, and was an incredibly proud Grammy to Ryan, Scott, Lauren, Brad, and Hailey. Bev was the loving sister of Barbara Dujan (John), her late brothers, Don and Richie, and the cherished daughter of the late Valentine and Emma Novak.
The family would like to extend their special gratitude to the staff at O’Neill Healthcare Bay Village for their compassionate care and for making Bev feel special and loved each day.
Bev wanted to be remembered for her natural ability to bring humor and a smile to those around her.
The family will gather for a private mass and celebration of life at a later date.
