Arlis "Ray" Wadlow

Ray transferred from Fisher Body in St Louis in 1970 to the new General Motors plant in Lordstown where he worked until retirement in 1989.

He was preceded in death by his Wife of 69 years; Jacquelyn, son; Ricky, parents; Charles and Molly, 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

Ray is survived by his children; Randy (Shirlee) of Lakeside, AZ, Debbie (Joe) Tul of Boardman, Gary (Lisa) of Salem, Laura Roland of Canfield, Susan of Canfield, and Scott (Jane) of Canfield. His brother; George of Vichy, MO, and sister; Carol Ivester of Iron Mountain, MO, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Ray was an avid Cleveland Guardians fan and rarely missed a ball game. He was able to spend his 90th birthday (in 2025) at Progressive Field in Cleveland with his daughter Laura. In his younger years, he enjoyed golfing and won numerous ‘Hole in 1’ trophies. He also won several bowling trophies and participated in the Pro-Am games when he resided in Florida after his retirement. He was always up for a game of cards of any sort, a game of cornhole or horseshoes. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Family trips were a favorite. Tuesday Casino trips with Debbie always put a smile on his face, whether he won or not. He just loved to go and play the games.

He will be greatly missed by all of his family.

The family would like to thank Hospice House and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
