Vincent was a proud graduate of SUNY Maritime College, class of 1962. After completing his education, he founded his own HVAC Engineering Company in Kinnelon, New Jersey. Vincent and his wife Hanne were married for 62 years and lived in Kinnelon, where they raised their three daughters . Before residing in Kinnelon, Vincent lived in Sandyston Township, where he served as mayor in the 1970’s while establishing his Engineering Company.
Vincent is survived by his devoted wife, Hanne, and their daughters: Michele (and her husband Chris Simeone), Jacqueline (and her husband Jeffrey Sartorio), and Nikki (and her husband Anthony Scarpa). He was the cherished grandfather of Kirsten( and her husband Brian), Jennifer( and her husband Taylor), Vincent, Corinne, Jianna, Justina, and Jenna, and he was a proud great-grandfather to Christopher and Taylor. He is also survived by his sister, Roseann Bouzakis, and his sister-in-law, Nancy Barone.
He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret (née Visconti) and Joseph Barone, his brother Edward Barone, and his brother-in-law Thomas Haughton and his wife Mary, as well as his brother-in-law Richard Bouzakis.
Vincent led a vibrant life filled with adventure and joy. He found great happiness spending time with his family enjoying boating, sailing, skiing, and golfing. He cherished boating on the intercoastal waters of North Carolina and the Jersey Shore. He was an avid target shooter and archer. Vincent was also a proud member of UNICO and served as a Lieutenant in the Naval Reserves.
Vincent’s warm presence, generosity, and guidance touched the lives of many. Vincent will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service to honor Vincent’s life will be held at Our Lady of the Magnificat Church (The Chapel), in Kinnelon, NJ at 10:00 A.M., on March 22nd, followed by inurnment.
Vincent’s legacy of love, leadership, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
