Roseanne Geoghegan

She was born on April 11, 1951 in the Bronx, NY to Angelina (Auditore) Mazzaro and Joseph Mazzaro. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Brian Geoghegan, two sisters, Francine Romangoli of Yonkers, NY and Diane Hendricks of Palm Harbor, FL, and sons Liam (Danielle) Geoghegan of Oaklyn, NJ and Rory (Rebecca) Geoghegan of Philadelphia, PA.

She married Brian on September 5, 1975. They raised their two sons in Yonkers, NY and after retirement moved to Oldsmar, FL. Following the birth of their first grandchild, Roseanne and Brian moved to Oaklyn, NJ in order to be closer to family.

Roseanne was an avid music lover, particularly The Beatles, and enjoyed attending concerts and Broadway shows. She was also an enthusiastic collector, and delighted friends and family with her comprehensive scrap books containing ticket stubs, playbills and other memorabilia. She enjoyed travel, particularly to the United Kingdom and was an expert on British culture. She spoke fondly of her time working at The Bronx Zoo and writing for a local travel company. She was an accomplished cook and baker, and could often be found in her kitchen preparing elaborate multi-course meals for her family. She was a devoted Gigi to her only granddaughter, Avery Jade. Roseanne will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
