Their wedding song, “Again” by Vic Damone, symbolized a marriage that lasted 70 beautiful years until Lorraine’s passing in April 2025. Together, they raised their family in Lyndhurst—living on Second Avenue, Mountain Way, and purchasing their first home at 619 New York Avenue—before moving to Harmon Cove in Secaucus in 1993. Their home was always filled with warmth, family, and friends. After his military service, Louis worked for Ramsey Autobody in Ramsey, New Jersey, and later retired from Passaic Valley Sewage Authority. Louis was a longtime member of the Lyndhurst Elks Lodge, where he enjoyed the camaraderie and community involvement that reflected his outgoing and supportive nature. Louis will be remembered for his enduring love for Lorraine, his honorable service to his country in the Korean War, his strong work ethic, his dedication to family, and the active role he played in his community through the Elks and beyond. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories shared across generations and will sorely be missed.
