William Garrett Firth

his beloved wife Lynne and daughter Shelly, who were also called to their eternal home. William was surrounded by loving family.

William was born on July 3rd, 1937 in Amsterdam, NY the son of Reginald and Lillian Gertrude Firth. He had 1 sister, Betty Drobish.

He married Lynne Anne Hance on December 1, 1962.

William grew up in upstate NY, and enlisted in the United States Navy after graduating high school. After being honorably discharged

in 1963, he joinedthe Federal Avaiation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller. He moved to Long Island with Lynne

where they started their family of daughter Shelly and son Scott. They eventually relocated to Palm Harbor, Florida.

He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who always played an active role in our lives in his off time, such as

coaching little league, soccer, camping, etc. Later in life, along with Lynne, he devoted much of his time at Toy Makers, where they would create handmade toys

for sick and needy children. The numerous lessons he has taught us and the paths he has shown us will never be forgotten.

William is survived by his son Scott (and his wife Cindy), and grandchildren Brianna, Blake, Jack and Joshua.

A service will be held on January 25, 2025 at 11 AM at Saint Michael the Archangel in Clearwater, Fl.
