Wilfredo Santiago Cosme

Born in Puerto Rico, Wilfredo proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Beyond his military service, he was known to all as a man of exceptional style—an impeccable dresser who carried himself with warmth, charm, and flair. Throughout his career in banking and communications, he was known for mentoring teams and individuals, helping them achieve their fullest potential and to "seize the day."

Wilfredo lived life to the fullest. Whether enjoying a fine cigar with his cup of espresso, tending his garden, savoring a good book, dominating a game of dominoes, or lighting up the room on the dance floor, his energy was magnetic. Wilfredo was always surrounded by his eclectic group of friends. Above all, he was a natural storyteller. Quick-witted and full of humor, he always made people laugh and had an endless collection of funny stories that turned everyday moments into unforgettable memories.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Awilda Mas Santiago; his daughter, Sabrina Frey, and son-in-law, Christopher Frey Sr.; his son, Gabriel Santiago, and daughter-in-law, Wildelys Colón Jusino; and his two cherished grandchildren, Christopher Frey Jr. and Catalina Frey.

Wilfredo's laughter, generosity, and lively spirit will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
