Todd Whiting Brinkmeyer lost his battle with ALS and passed away peacefully on Friday January 12th, 2024 at the age of 53. He is survived by wife Kristin, the love of his life, with whom he shared a lifetime of happiness in only three short years. Todd also leaves his mother Randee, brother Bill, sister-in-law Jacquie, niece Alexis, nephew Cam, Kristin’s sister Ingrid, her husband Scott, nieces Kaylie, Kendall, Ava and his companion in mischief, Uncle Johnny. His presence will be missed not only by his family but by the countless people he befriended during his life; he rarely knew a stranger.
Todd lived on Treasure Island for over 25 yrs. He loved playing frisbee & watching the sunset on the beach - always with a beer. Todd loved most professional sports but perhaps the most memorable times were centered around football; whether it be at Buccaneers games in his cherished club seats with Kristin or at Robin & Dean’s house for football Saturdays cheering for the Gators. He even became a bit of an Alabama football fan making several trips to Tuscaloosa for games. But those trips were about the family and friends that he loved dearly.
Todd’s career delivering for Anheuser-Busch, Coke-a-Cola, and others ended with his ALS diagnosis in 2022. Throughout all those years he made friends for life enjoying time together with their mutual love for NASCAR, Indy & Formula 1 racing, Rock Concerts, and of course, beer.
We kindly ask, in lieu of flowers, if you are able to donate to Todd’s medical expenses it would help tremendously.
