Sherry Mae Lane

Sherry Mae Greer Lane, (76) passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, Florida. Sherry was a Valentine's Day baby, born on February 14, 1949 in Washington, PA to Theodore Robert Greer and Evelyn Elizabeth Harton, both deceased.

Surviving family members are her husband, Roy F. Lane, brother, Ted Greer of Clearwater, FL., sister Helen Kosak of Washington, PA., Uncle, Terry Greer and Aunt Patty Shuba of Washington, PA.

Sherry has 4 sons, James and Donnie Horner of Homosassa, FL. Troy Horner of Reno, NV and one son Robert, who was deceased at birth. She has 3 grandkids who she thought the world of, Thane Horner of Austin Texas,Tyler Burgardof N.C., and Raina Horner of Los Vegas, NV who passed away August 8, 2010.

Sherry went to Trinity High School in Washington, PA and Penn Commercial in Washington, PA for 18 months in 1986. She worked at the Pinellas School system as a bus driver and Washoe School, Reno, NV and was also a home health care giver in Citrus County, FL.

She loves family and our animals - Jill, Paisley, Jack and Melody and Raina, the white cat and Lee. Her hobbies were phone games, word puzzles, slots and her plants.

Sherry loved the Lord. She went to 1st Christian Church on Grover Cleveland Blvd. in Homosassa, FL.

Sherry was a great wife & partner of 30 years and will be loved forever & a day.
