Sharon Ann Shelby

(1948 – 2025)

Sherrie Shelby, age 77, of Plant City, FL, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 22, 1948, in St. Charles, MO to Ferd and Agnes Ell, she married the love of her life, John (Bob) Shelby, on October 7, 1967, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, faith, and endless love.

Sherrie was the heart of her family. She was a devoted wife of 58 years, a nurturing mother to Scott Shelby and Stacie Hall, and the world’s best Grandma, to her adored grandchildren Ricky Hall, Jeffery Hall, Audrey Shelby and Stone Shelby and Great Grandchild Parker Hall. Her kitchen was always open, her hugs were legendary, and her love was unconditional.

She will be deeply missed by her husband John, children Scott & Wendy Shelby, Stacie Hall, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and a countless circle of friends who became family. She was preceded in death by Ferd and Agnes Ell, Brothers Joe and Jim Ell, and sister Elaine Kofron.

A woman of quiet strength and boundless kindness, Sherrie showed us all how to love fiercely and live gracefully. Until we meet again.
