Sharon Ann Fahien, 70, of Pinellas Park, Florida, died peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2017, after a short illness. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley Shelby and James Lott, her step-father DeWayne Archer, her older sister, Shirlyn Teater, her sister-in-law, Debra Archer, her brother-in-law, Robert Cartelli, and her nephew, Chrisopher Collett. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Pomeroy (Bill Farrell), two grandsons, Jeffrey and Jacob Pomeroy (all of Maryland), and a granddaughter, Amanda Farrell of Pennsylvania. In addition, she leaves behind two younger brothers--Raymond Archer (Rowena) of California, and William Archer (Lana) of Missouri, four younger sisters--Sandra Harris (Bill) of Maryland, Susan Alley (Bob) of Florida, Sheila Cartelli and Shelly Datu (Steve) of California, plus numerous nephews/grand-nephews, nieces/grand-nieces, and other close family and friends. Her marriage to Gary Fahien ended in divorce. Sharon was born in San Francisco, California, on January 26, 1947. She was the younger of two daughters born to Shirley Shelby and James V. Lott. Sharon was very young when her father died. Her mother remarried, and she was raised by her mother and step-father in the San Francisco Bay Area. The second oldest of eight children, she and her older sister Lynn helped their mother care for their younger siblings. She believed that “Family was Family her whole life and took responsibility for her younger siblings to heart. She was always there for any of them in need. Sharon worked for over 40 years as a waitress. Her last place of employment was The Flames Restaurant, in San Jose, California until she retired in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. She enjoyed being with friends and family. Her favorite pastimes were crocheting, embroidering, playing cards and computer games, and gardening. She will be interred at the Garden of Light in Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, Ca, beside her older sister Lynn. Both her grandparents and her mother are located in the Longshoreman area there. Arrangements under the direction of Neptune Society-LEG Tampa, Palm Harbor, Florida.
