Scott David Short

He was born in Peoria, Illinois to Ralph & Lucianne (Raymond) Short yet he was raised and lived in Tampa Florida for most of his life. He graduated in 1981 from Leto High School in Tampa, FL. He worked for 45 years as a local stagehand/key grip in the film, entertainment & theatrics industry and was a member of IATSE Local Union 477.

His hobbies included eating sushi, fishing, golfing, cooking out, comedy shows, spending time with friends & family and feeding the homeless.

He participated in weekly bible study at Grace Family Church in Lutz, FL. He reminded everyone daily of God's goodness and making sure everyone was saved.

He is survived by his son August T. Short (Tori) of Springhill FL, mother Lucianne R. Short-Clubb of Tampa FL, brothers Todd M. Short (Cyndi) of Tampa FL, Brian M. Short (Kathie) of Middleburg, FL, sisters Vicky F. Harkins of N. Redington Beach, FL, Angela K. Gomes (Norman) of Tampa FL, nephews Christopher Short (Desi) of Atlanta GA, Garrett Harkins of Lakeland FL; two grandchildren Kennedy D. Short and Lincoln E. Short.

He is preceded in death by his father Ralph L. Short and his step father Paul W. Clubb.

There will be a celebration of life at Wulfaven Brewing Co at 10828 Perez Dr Tampa FL on Monday, September 25 from 4-7pm.
