Roy Orihuela Sr.

October 25, 1945 - June 18, 2026

Roy Orihuela Sr born Thursday October 25,1945 passed away on Thursday June 18, 2026 at the age of 80. Parents of Raul Orihuela Sr and Mercedes Orihuela, and brother Jonas Cord all of whom are deceased survived by Jonas’s wife Alice Cord, Roy’s wife Marie T Orihuela, two sons Roy Orihuela Jr and Jake A Orihuela and daughter in-law Carey Orihuela. Also survived by his sister Luz M Orihuela and her deceased wife Carla M Croft. His two grandsons Anthony J Orihuela and Alan Reyher.

He was a hard worker his entire life and instilled a strong work ethic in his children starting off at shining shoes at his father's barber shop at a young age. In the 1960s, Roy served in the U.S. Army as a tank commander. He worked many jobs there for after (Insurance Industry, K-Mart in security and management, in the car industry as a salesman, and finished as an assistant produce manager.

As amazing as his jobs were, the job he loved the most was his role as a family man and he loved his children more than life itself. He was a devoted husband of Marie T Orihuela for 42 years.

In later life he became ILL but against all odds he lived almost 10 years on Dialysis. The day of his passing he was sounded by loved ones. He will be missed but he will live on in our hearts forever.

At this time no service is scheduled but a celebration of life healed for him at a later date.
