Rita Sue Friedman

She beautifully held many titles in her life: Wife, to Allen D. Friedman (deceased); Daughter, to William and Sara Charous (deceased from Chicago, Il); sister to Heidi Bekiempis (husband Vince), Jackie Cherne, and Emmy NewDelman (husband Allan); Mom, to Mark S. Friedman (wife Teresa), Ila Gambino ( husband Tony deceased), Keith Friedman, Lois Friedman; Grandmother, to Zachary Friedman (wife Stella), Jason Friedman (wife Julie), Nathan Gambino (wife Lauren), Nicholas Barron (wife Kayla), Danielle Hudek (husband Nick), Maigan Jacobs (husband Joey), Jonny Friedman (deceased). Also…Great Grandmother to Abigail and Ian (Zachary and Stella’s children), Hudson, Copeland, Beckham (Jason and Julie’s children), Jasen (Maigan and Joey’s child), Evelyn (Danielle and Nick’s child), Marilynn (Nicholas and Kayla’s child). Rita is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Best known for her seasonal baking and the love of gifting hundreds of cookies and pastries each year to friends and family. Her humor and joy will be greatly missed by family, friends, and those who were fortunate to have crossed her path in this life.

Her life will be celebrated at her home in Tampa, FL on May 13th between the hours of 11 am and 2 pm. We look forward to seeing you.
