Richard Barry Reinstein

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Reinstein, a beloved husband, father, and member of the community. At age 92, Richard’s energetic spirit and love for life came to an end on Monday January 8, 2024. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born and raised in New York City, Richard had a passion for business and was known as a successful and gregarious businessman. His charisma and warm personality touched the lives of countless individuals.

Richard will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of 45 years, Elaine Reinstein, who stood by his side through all their adventures. He also leaves behind his children Michael and (Pie) Reinstein, Steven and (Isabel) Reinstein, Melissa Reinstein Williams and Mark Reinstein (deceased).

Richard’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends. He cherished every moment shared with them whether it was a dinner club meal, a round of golf or a daily joke. His presence lit up any room he entered, and he will always be remembered for his infectious laughter and kind heart.

To honor Richard’s legacy, let us continue to live our lives to the fullest just as he did.

On Saturday February 10th at his home in Brandon, Florida, we will raise a glass to celebrate our wonderful memories.

May he rest in peace knowing that his love for life made an impact on each one of us and left a lasting imprint on our hearts.
