Peter Marich, 87, of Clearwater, passed away on May 28, 2023. Born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1935, he immigrated with his family to the United States in 1938 and settled in Chicago, IL. After high school graduation, he enlisted in the Marines and served during the final years of the Korean War. He returned to the Chicago area and studied engineering before moving to Clearwater, where he met and fell in love with Margery and began his career as an architect. A well-respected professional in Pinellas County, he was the lead architect on the Largo Hospital complex as well as many other important community buildings and homes. He was an avid outdoorsman and pursued this interest with beloved friends and family. A member of the Masons and the Clearwater Breakfast Sertoma Club, he also served on local boards and commissions in his professional capacity as an architect.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margery; son, Michael; son, Christopher, and his wife Stefanie; daughter Wendy and her husband Zale; five grandchildren, Ashlyn, Gavin, Kierstin, Silas, and Naomi; his brother Milan and his wife, Sharon.
