Patrick B. Parmelee passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, just shy of his 88th birthday, following a brief illness. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Patrick shared over 64 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Patricia Parmelee.
He is survived by Patricia and their four children: Carol Klovekorn (Steven Klovekorn), Lynn Gordon (Andrew Gordon), Michael Parmelee, and Steven Parmelee. He was a cherished grandfather to Lt. Brendan Klovekorn (Lt. Commander Jean Bridgett Klovekorn and their son, Jack Klovekorn), Allyson Klovekorn (fiancé Joseph Schulte), Megan Gordon, Matthew Gordon, Rowan Parmelee, Maggie Parmelee, and Lily Parmelee. He also leaves behind three nephews: Patrick Parmelee (Marie Parmelee), Robert Parmelee, and Perry Parmelee (Kristy Parmelee). Patrick found great joy in his family and was especially grateful to have met his first great-grandchild, with another soon to arrive.
Patrick proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University and dedicated his entire career to the Campbell’s Soup Company. Patrick worked in sales and marketing moving his family to several new locations as he gained experience and was promoted.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Baile, his father, P.O. Parmelee, and R.W. Baile, who raised and adopted him, as well as his brother, Perry Parmelee (Joan Parmelee and nephew David Parmelee).
In his earlier years, Patrick enjoyed playing golf. He was an avid reader, a dedicated football fan, loved working on his computer, and loved his family and friends very much.
A private interment will take place at Bushnell National Cemetery in Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Patrick’s honor.
Patrick will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
