

Norman Glen Steele of San Antonio, FL, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 11, 2021 at the age of 86 years. He was born in Covington, KY, the son of Lawrence and Matilda Steele and was married to his wife, Ruth, for 67 years. His formative years were spent in Clarksburg, WV. He worked for Proctor & Gamble for 18 years in Cincinnati, Ohio before entering full time ministry. He served as a pastor in Nazarene and Wesleyan churches in NJ, NY, WV, NC and FL during his 35 years of ministry.
He loved to sing and served as a Minister of Music in Cincinnati, and sang in many quartets over the years. He loved to read, travel and spend time with his three children, seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He loved wood working, welding and working on home improvement projects for his family and the church. He had a fun sense of humor and he will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Steele; three children and their spouses, Kathy and Rocco Sansone, Judy and Tom Russo and Brad and Beth Steele; seven grandchildren, Nicole Verly, Christopher Sansone, Tommy Russo, Ryan Russo, Joel Steele, Kayla Kepinski, Lindsey Steele; and three great grandchildren, Kirra, Carter and Charlotte.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Matilda, and his two brothers, Lawrence and Paul.
A memorial service will be held at Largo First Church of the Nazarene, 610 2nd Avenue NE, Largo, FL 33770 on June 14,, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
