He was born Oct. 8,1928 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Michael M. and Rose ( Levison ) Rubin.

He spent his youth in Warren, Ohio with sister Donna Steinburn, all who ave preceded him in

death.

He married Patricia Lou Louise Gibbens of Elyria, Ohio on June 17th, 1951 in Elyria, Ohio,

where they made their home. Together they had seven children; Keith ( Geri ) Rubin of

Anacortes, WA, Ms. Michael ( Don ) Rubin Stewart of St. Petersburg, FL, Allison ( Neal ) Brady

of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Eric ( Patty ) Rubin of Neavitt, MD, Craig Rubin of Jacksonville, FL, Glen

( Jodi ) Rubin of Panama City Beach, FL, and Dawn (Tim ) Lawrence of Madison WI.

Grandchildren include Paula Jones, Sarah Rubin, Mallory Garrard, Ivy Stovall, Mikiel Stovall,

Gabriel Stovall, Ande Rubin, Madalen Rubin, Alden Rubin, Isaac Rubin, Wade Rubin, Kamsin

Lawrence, and Carly Reilly. There are 10 great grandchildren and more great-great

grandchildren. He is also survived by his most beloved cat, Turbo, who now lives with family in

Tennessee.

Mike served 3 years as a corporal in the Army Air Corps during WWII / Army of Occupation

in Germany. He was a B-29/B-25 Mitchell Specialist Airplane Mechanic, helping to return

planes from the field of battle. Afterwards, he used the G.I. bill to attend Hiram College, where

he met and courted his future bride Patty Lou.
