Melissa Ann Craig

Melissa was born in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1989 to Alan Craig and Kathryn Hoff, and lived there until she was 12. She moved to Lutz in 2001.

She is survived by her mother and father, Kathryn Cryer and Alan Craig; her brother, Patrick Craig; and her stepfather, Edward Cryer.

Melissa attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, where she completed her bachelor’s degree. She worked in customer service positions for Capital One and Disney. She was recently pursuing Paralegal studies in preparation for the Paralegal certification exam.

Melissa was passionate about music, dogs and all things Disney. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a proud descendant of the female patriot, Mary Polly Hawkins Craig. She really enjoyed her many trips to Greece where she spent time exploring the country and visiting with relatives on her mom’s side of the family.

An Interment Service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33760 on Friday, May 23rd. Contact the family for details.
