Mary Michau

Mary JeaAnne Noblit Michau “Jan”, of Palm Harbor, Florida, went home to God on May 21, 2023 after a long decline in health.

Jan was born in Clearwater, Florida, and raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida. She graduated as a Sponger with the class of 1967, from Tarpon Springs High School.

After school she went to work for Noblit Insurance Agency, and in 1982 met and married her husband, William Michau Jr. “Bill”. They moved to New Jersey and in 1986 welcomed a daughter together. They and their two stepsons then moved to Tarpon Springs in 1992. She resumed working at Noblit Insurance Agency until they sold to AAA, where she went to work until retiring in 2008.

Jan is survived by her husband of 40 years, William Michau Jr.; her mother, Virginia Barlow Noblit (Palm Harbor); daughter, Brittany Michau Gauvin (Spring Hill); stepsons, Christian Michau (Missouri), and Damon Michau (Hudson); sisters, Bonnie Noblit Park (South Carolina), and Robin Noblit Patasher (North Carolina); and 5 grandchildren, Ashlynn Michau (Missouri), Julian Michau (Hudson), and Emma, Eila, and Elsa Gauvin (Spring Hill).

She is and will continue to be missed by all who knew her. Jan will be laid to rest on June 26, 2023 at Cycadia Cemetery in Tarpon Springs, Florida, with a memorial service to follow.
