

Linda “NeNe” Jessmore, formerly of Fulton, New York, passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on July 5, 2026, in Clearwater, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Linda faced Alzheimer’s disease with incredible strength, grace, and the unwavering love of her family throughout her courageous four-year journey.
Born on October 23, 1946, in Watertown, New York, Linda was the daughter of Harold and Virginia Rowe. She graduated from Fulton High School and went on to live a life centered on family, friendship, and kindness.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Jessmore. She is survived by her four daughters: Mary Crouch of Clearwater, Florida; Michelle (Kevin) LaFave of Palm Harbor, Florida; Mollie (Frank) Renee of Hannibal, New York; and Monique (Curtis) Blankenship of Lakeland, Florida. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Teri (Dale) Christensen of Lecanto, Florida.
She was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to eighteen great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Linda spent many years working in hospitality at various establishments throughout Oswego County. In 1988, she and Michael relocated to Kissimmee, Florida, where she worked at Captain Nemo’s for 12 years. There, she welcomed people from around the world, creating countless friendships that lasted a lifetime.
After 12 years, Linda and Michael returned to their hometown of Fulton, where they enjoyed reconnecting with lifelong friends and spending precious time with family. As life often does, it eventually led them back to Florida, where they settled in St. Petersburg. Linda cherished her years there, making memories with those she loved most. She especially enjoyed visiting Disney, spending peaceful days at the beach, and strolling through the Saturday Morning Market in downtown St. Petersburg.
Linda will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, infectious smile, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. She had a remarkable gift for making others laugh, offering a listening ear, and loving without hesitation. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain her greatest legacy, living on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida, with interment to follow. Details regarding the date and time will be shared with family and friends once finalized.
