Linda grew up in Amarillo,Texas where she attended Amarillo College and Texas Tech University before departing for Los Angeles, California. Linda lived a magical life in so many respects. The details of her life and events in California are stunning and amazing to anyone who could pry that information out of her. It is no small coincidence that she had at least three well known songs written about her and her inner and outer beauty by famous musicians.
Linda left Los Angeles with her daughter Lindsay and ultimately set up her home in Sarasota, Florida where she established her court reporting firm, Linda Dickey & Associates and practiced for 25 years. Linda married Scott in December of 2006 and brought her kind heart and inspiration to the whole family. Her powerful influence endured and not surprisingly has left a legacy of goodness, kindness, charity, love and affection.
Linda affected friends, acquaintances and virtually everyone who had contact with her by her generosity, sense of style, dignity, and respect.
