Laverne Monica Estell

Laverne was born on April 13, 1944, in South Amboy, New Jersey to the late Albert Frank Read and Anna Patricia (Pytel) Read. She married Ralph Arch Estell on April 28th, 1962 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Laverne was a graduate of Saint Petersburg High School and she received an associate's degree in business from Saint Petersburg College. She worked for the Pinellas County school system for 30 years as a secretary. Laverne lived in Pinellas Park, Florida, and also had a cabin that she and her husband Ralph enjoyed in Floral City, Florida. Laverne loved to travel and go on cruises. Cross-stitching was one of her favorite hobbies. She cherished the time spent with her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Laverne is survived by her children, Ralph A. Estell JR., Monica R. Brunetto, and Jeffery T. Estell. She has 3 Grandchildren Holly R. Seymour, Deanna L. Winfrey, and Jeffery T. Estell JR. She has 5 great-grandchildren Logan Winfrey, Audrey Seymour, Alyson Winfrey, Jason Seymour, and Peyton Winfrey. Laverne also has 3 nephews and 1 niece.

No funeral service per her request, the family is having a small private celebration of life in October of 2023.
