Kathleen Ann McLellan

Kathy was born in Detroit as the first of five children of Donald W. and Norma McLellan. She is survived by her sister, Carol Carmody (Jack, deceased), and her three brothers, Donald R. (Shari), Kenneth (Sharon), and Tom (Cara). She also leaves behind many extended relatives with whom she maintained close relationships.

Kathy graduated with honors from Farmington High School in 1969, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University, and obtained a Master of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix. She worked for GMAC and later for Walmart.

Throughout her life, Kathy lived in Michigan, Illinois, California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and finally settled in Florida.

Kathy will be remembered for her thoughtful gestures, such as acknowledging birthdays, anniversaries, and sending holiday greeting cards, often including assorted small gifts. Most of all, she will be remembered for her sense of humor, which she maintained even while undergoing treatment for cancer.
