On Saturday, February 11th Kathleen Fay Stokes Hofmeister, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, went on to be with her Lord and Savior. She was 71 years old. Born to Clyde and Irma Stokes on March 9, 1951. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Lloyd “Doc” Hofmeister. her daughter Heidi, son Joe (Natalie), grandchildren Brendan & Kaiden, and Peyton, brother Chris, and sisters Connie and Luann.
Kathy grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania. She always had a love for animals, especially horses. Riding horses was her favorite pastime. She also loved her Pittsburg Steelers and playing cards with the family. Of course, her favorite card game was ‘kings in the corner’, where she had earned the title “Kathy I Win” due to her unbeatable card playing ability. Although her card playing was unbeatable, her husband and children would agree, it was her selflessness when it came to her family that was second to none. She always put her family first and loved them at all costs. She will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. We love you and look forward to seeing you again.
The funeral will be at Spring Life church on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10am. Located at 9344 Spring Hill Dr., Spring Hill, FL 34608. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HPH Hospice Hernando County, https://www.chaptershealth.org/for-volunteers-donors/personal-giving/
