Katherine T. Stein

Katherine was born in New York, New York to John and Margaret Stein. She moved to Miami, Florida in the 1970s where she became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with additional expertise as a Reiki Master. Kathy continued to learn a variety of massage modalities and became an Esthetician as well. Working in a variety of spa settings, Kathy was valued as Lead Therapist and educator in the workplace. She also provided in-home massage to private clients, some for as long as 16 years. All her clients deemed her the very best therapist!

Kathy met her partner, Wendy Booth, in August 2005. They moved together to the Tampa Bay area of Florida in 2009 after four years travelling between Birmingham, Alabama and Miami, Florida. Kathy and Wendy spent 18 beautiful years together sharing their lives with two cats, Billie and Malia. They enjoyed RV camping for several years and took 23 trips with Olivia Travel seeing many parts of the world including the Caribbean and European countries, Alaska, Australia, and Iceland. Cruising was always a favorite. Two more trips had already been booked when Kathy passed away, much too soon!

Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, two older brothers, John and Jerry, and a nephew. She is survived by her partner, Wendy, as well as her nieces and nephews, Mary, Katherine, John, Thomas and several great nieces and nephews.
