Jeanette was also preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Celia (née Schirripa), as well as sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, a niece, and several cousins.
Jeanette earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from Cleveland State University. She spent much of her professional life in healthcare administration, including 17 years as Program Director for the Department of Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic and was actively involved in the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine (APDIM).
Jeanette was an avid reader, an outstanding cook, someone who loved to travel and had a deep appreciation for the arts. Music held a special place in her heart. She taught piano and served on the Board of Directors of the Cleveland International Piano Competition in the early 2000s, supporting an organization dedicated to nurturing exceptional musical talent and sharing the beauty of classical piano.
Above all else, Jeanette loved her family. They were the most important part of her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hospice Foundation of America. A celebration of Jeanette’s life will be held at a later date, with details to follow.
