JAMES DON COFFLAND, proud veteran of the U.S. ARMY passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2025. Son of James E. and Mable, "Jim" was born March 17,1934 in Bridgeport, Ohio and graduated from Shadyside High School. James valued his service highly and attained the rank of CW3, serving in logistics, engineering and liaison duties in S. Korea, Taiwan and three tous in Vietnam, receiving the bronze star for valor. James is survived by his wife, Susan and children Sue, James, Allen and Richard. Predeceased by first wife, Karen. Family and gracious donations to St. Jude, Wounded Warrior, VFW and others were important to him. A private service honoring the life of James will be held at the family's discretion.
