Hazel was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Hazel’s family of origin moved in the early 1940’s to the Tampa, FL area, right off of Fletcher Ave.
Hazel is survived by her sons Fred and Tim Nalls, Fred's wife Kristi Nalls, 3 of her Grandchildren, and soon-to-be four great-grandchildren.
Hazel put her faith and trust in Jesus Christ and became part of First Baptist Church of Lutz on October 4, 1942, and 21 days later on October 25 was baptized. First Baptist Lutz was a large part of her life where she served faithfully in the choir and the Sunday school record keeper up until a few years ago.
Hazel was a former student at the Historic Lutz Elementary School. Hazel started working in her mid-teens for Borden’s Dairy where she had a great career and loved by everyone she worked with there at Borden’s until having her children. At that point she stayed home with her boys until they were in High School. Then she would go onto have a long career for Winn Dixie accounting.
Hazel had a green thumb and loved her fruit trees, plants and flowers, often spending time working in her yard, as she just loved being outside. In the later years she would enjoy time just sitting in her swing in the front yard watching the birds and squirrels, listening to the large wind chimes, and waving to neighbors as they walked by.
Hazel was known by her neighbors, co-workers, friends, and family for never having a bad word to say about anyone. She loved Jesus and serving the Lord and people in any manor she could.
