Gerald Anthony Struckhoff passed away peacefully March 16, 2017 in his home with his wife, Sue Struckhoff, by his side. Jerry was born June 15, 1933, in St. Louis, MO, to Joseph C. Struckhoff, and Sophie (Kloh) Struckhoff. Jerry married Joanne Fioritto in April 1973 in Mentor OH who brought 3 children to the marriage. They were happily married until Joanne’s death in 1993. Jerry remarried on January 23, 1998 to Sarah Humphries Weicht in Dade City FL who brought 4 children to the marriage. Jerry and Sue enjoyed almost 20 years of happy marriage enjoying each others love and companionship. After his graduation from St Joseph Seminary in 1961 Jerry enjoyed a lifelong career of helping people in need beginning with his affiliation with the Catholic church. He later found his real passion and embarked on an over 30 year career as a nursing home administrator that culminated with eventual ownership of the Pasco Nursing Center in Dade City. Mr. Struckhoff was an avid golfer and a member and past president of Kiwanis Club in Zephyrhills. He was very proud of his dedicated work for Kiwanis and instrumental in leading many programs that funded scholarships to over 100 deserving students. Jerry was a dedicated volunteer supporting Meals on Wheels and Pasco Health Services. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Sue, 5 children, 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. There are no services for Mr. Struckhoff planned at this time.
