Frank was born in 1948 in Connecticut. A gifted athlete, he competed in track and field growing up in Connecticut and went on to play basketball at Acadia University. He served in the U.S. Air Force and remained a proud veteran all his life.
He built his career with the U.S. government , serving as an agricultural economist in London, Warsaw, Washington, DC, Islamabad and Guatemala City. His work took the family around the world, and his daughters grew up calling many countries home.
Frank's life was full of adventure, travel, family and friendships that lasted decades. He was known for his spontaneous and wonderfully unique suggestions, which his daughters say shaped who they are today.
He was deeply proud of his daughters, and proudest of all of his grandson, Ryder, who carries on his love of basketball, golf, travel and watching a good game.
Frank is survived by his wife, Cindy Coolidge; his daughters, Amanda Coolidge (Jeff Savage) and Emily Coolidge (Daryl Morris); and his grandson, Ryder Coolidge.
A small memorial service will be held on Thursday October 8 at Hyde Park United Methodist Church, Tampa Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Life Path Hospice Tampa.
