Eunice Louise Dudek Tessmer

Eunice was born June 20, 1930, in Racine, WI, to Edward Dudek and Harietta L. (Kortemier) Dudek.

Eunice was a ballroom dancer, and received numerous awards and medals.

She loved to dance, shop, and spend time with her family.

Mrs. Tessmer was an in-home health aide until December 2016, living independently up until her April diagnosis. She was on an 8 month journey fighting brain cancer where she demonstrated courage and strength always with a smile. We are very proud of our mother.

Eunice married Robert C. Tessmer, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1992.

Preceding her in death were her parents Edward & Henrietta (Kortemeier) Dudek, brother Myron Dudek and an infant sister, Judith Ann.

She is survived by her five children Edward, Daniel (Kathy), Sandra (James)Annoye , Nancy (Edward) Matura & Sally (Ray)Devlin. She dearly loved her grandchildren Sabrina & Adrianna Matura, Olivia Annoye, Shane Devlin and Danon, Derrick & Devin Tessmer.

She is further survived by her brothers James (Rachel), Eugene (Doris), sisters, Ruth (the late Robert) Leslie, Elizabeth (Lawrence) Ashman & Sister-in law Caroline Dudek. As well as many nieces & nephews.

The family will be holding a private memorial to put Mrs. Tessmer to rest next to her husband at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family has chosen to support St. Jude Children‘s Research Hospital in our mother’s name.
