After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he married Rosemary (Kendall) Geary on June 13, 1959 in Irvington, NJ. He retired from American Can Company in Irvington, NJ.
The family re-located to Tampa in 1982, where Ed eventually picked up golfing. He enjoyed volunteering, especially at St. Paul Catholic Church in Carrollwood, where he was a parishioner for over 40 years. He also loved to tell silly jokes to friends and strangers, alike.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary, sons Joe, Tom and Bob, and daughters Linda and Liane. He is also survived by his sister Joan Aulisi of Brick, NJ, 5 grandchildren (Kaileigh, Brianna, James, Laura and Ryan) and one great grandchild (Camilo). He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Edward Jr.
A Mass and Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 9th at 2pm at St. Paul Catholic Church, Tampa.
