Doris Mae Chartrand

Beloved mother, cherished GIGI, daughter, sister and friend to many, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Wednesday February 22, 2023 in Largo FL.

Born August 14, 1958 to Arthur and Joyce Messer in Trenton, MI. She moved to Florida in November 1980.

Doris retired in 2020 from Pinellas County Tax Collectors after 33 years of service. She enjoyed working in her garden, listening to live music, sunsets at the beach, playing with her granddaughter, and hanging out with family and friends. She was looking forward to spending her retirement years between Michigan and Florida.

Doris is survived by her only son, Nicholas Chartrand, her daughter-in-law Ellisa and granddaughter Chloe. Her mother Joyce Messer and siblings Clay (Sabra) Messer, Brad (Lisa) Messer, Todd (Melodee) Messer, Arthur (Chari) Messer, Valerie Gebstadt, Christine (Judy) Messer. She is preceded in death by her father Arthur Messer and siblings Johnny Messer, Tommy Messer, Lisa Brown.

A Memorial Service followed by a Celebration of Life will be held:
