Dennis J. Pavone

Dennis James Pavone, born on March 9, 1949 in Rochester, New York, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, James Pavone, and his twin brother, Francis Pavone.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Karen Pavone; his two daughters, Stephanie Pavone Hawk (Phil) and Jessica Pavone Strebig (Travis); and his cherished grandchildren, Grace and Grady Hawk, and Lola Strebig. He is also survived by his mother, Jean Pavone; his brothers, Terrence, James, and Michael Pavone, and their families; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and devotion to his family, whose lives were deeply enriched by his love. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In the words of his favorite musician, Frank Sinatra: “I faced it all, and I stood tall, I did it my way.”

There will be no formal services at this time. A celebration of Dennis’s life will be planned in New York, and details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
