Daniel Mordenti, 83, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024. Born on July 4, 1941, in New Jersey, Daniel lived a full and vibrant life. A proud veteran, Daniel served as a Navy Seaman from January 1959 to July 1962. After his military service, he moved to Florida in 1983 and established a successful A/C and refrigeration business, which he operated for 20 years. He later opened a small pet store in Spring Hill, where he shared his love for animals with the community. Daniel was a loving husband, married to Gladys Karen Mordenti for 44 years. He was a devoted father and grandfather, always there to support and encourage his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Gladys Karen Mordenti; his two daughters, JoAnn Mordenti and Toni Ann Lahey; and his five grandchildren, Arianna Lahey, Elizabeth Lahey, James Lahey, Preston Womrath, and Brianna Womrath. He was predeceased by his son, Danny Mordenti. Sister Dorothy Kohenkamp, brothers Joseph Mordenti, and Edward Mordenti. A church service will be held later, early next year. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
