Carmen Cordero

Carmen Cordero, 82, went home to the Lord peacefully on August 15, 2017 in Palm Harbor, Florida. Carmen was born on September 11, 1934 in Albany, New York. She married the love of her life, Jose A. Cordero on July 29, 1953. They had 6 children. Carmen is survived by her Husband, Jose A. Cordero, their children, Angela Hawley and spouse Ronnie, Venus Cordero and spouse Emmanuel, Jose A. Cordero, Jr and spouse Janet, Carmen Bernaldo and spouse Michael, Catherine Walker and spouse Rick, Peter Cordero and spouse Tammy, sister Frances Marlin, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma and friend will be missed but never forgotten. Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, August 18, 2017 at 6 pm. at Christ Church of Palm Harbor. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 1111 Indiana Avenue, Palm Harbor, FL 34683. If desired, in lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Suncoast Hospice North Pinellas Brookside. For Our Mother light is from our household gone, A voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God gave us a beautiful Mother, A Mother who never grew old; You were always there with a helping hand, Help us now, to accept his plan. We miss you now, our hearts are sore; As time goes by, we miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face, Not one can take our Mother’s place. May you rest in peace.
