Colmer, Brenda Leigh, 67, of Weeki Wachee, FL passed away early Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Spring Hill, FL. Born and raised in Stafford, CT, she graduated from Stafford High School. She worked in claims for The Travelers and Met Life Insurance companies, retiring from the latter. Brenda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard A. Colmer; her seven children and step-children: Edmund, Laurie, David, Cynthia, Danny, Stephanie, and Jennifer; her 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren who enjoyed many summers camping and traveling with her. She will be remembered as an avid camper and nature lover that had the opportunity to travel the country and see many of the places she dreamed of visiting. To many, she will also be remembered as a quilter and consummate craftswoman. She was loved, and will be missed!
