Barry Augustine Carson

Barry passed away in Trinity Hospital on February 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Barry was born in Haverhill, MA and grew up in Methuen, MA. and attended Methuen Public Schools and New Hampshire College. He joined the U.S.Navy in July 1965 and served until August 1969. From 1967 to 1969 he served in Viet Nam on the Mekong Delta with the Brown Water Navy /m91-2 rivron 9, rivdiv 91.68/69. He also drove for many years for Schaffer Trucking enjoying our beautiful country with his wife Judy. Barry is survived by his sister Nancy (Ronald) Browall of Dunnellon, FL, and was predeceased by his parents George and Ruth (Westwell) Carson, brothers George (Patricia)Carson, William (Iris) Carson and sister Ruth (Joseph)Bower. He leaves behind a loving family, his former wife of 30 years, Judith Clarr Carson, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a dear friend Cynthia Wylie.

A Military Honors Commitment Service will be held March 7, 2025 at 2:00pm at Bushnell National Cemetery. Bushnell Florida.
