Barbara White Fishback, (Bobbie to those who knew her well) transitioned to heaven on Friday, June 3, 2022 surrounded by her loving children at the age of 92. She was born on 10/31/1929 in Inverness, FL.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, Grau-Mere, wife, daughter, cousin, friend and sister. She always thought of others before herself and instilled in her children the ability to love unconditionally, which was her superpower! She was a devout Catholic . She loved the Lord Jesus with all her being. Mom was also a Master bridge player and a social butterfly. She had many friends and made everyone feel heard and appreciated in her presence. She was a wonderful quilt maker and blessed her family with her gorgeous handmade quilts. Mom was a blessing to all her children, family and friends.
She was preceded by our wonderful father, Eddie, mother Corrine, father Marion, brother Edward, Son- in -law, Bobby, two beautiful siblings that passed as babies and two babies that God took home before they were born into our family. Mom is survived by her eight children and their families: Mike, Pat (Soon), Cathy (John), Julie (Bob), Jen, Becky (Greg), Larry (Tanya), and Joey. Her grand darlings: Matt, Danny, Civahn, Diondra, James, Joy and last but not least, Cortney. Mom was blessed to be with us long enough to have known her great grand darlings too! Jacob, Adrian, Harrison, Jett, Dalilah, Violet, Daisy, Eddie and Maddox. And of course Lulu, her beloved dog.
We will miss her presence terribly but are at peace in the knowledge she is in God’s kingdom and with our Dad again. Be kind to one another and please, spread that goodness everywhere. Mom would have loved that!
A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 @ 1:00 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 4518 S. Manhattan Ave, Tampa FL. Refreshments will be served after the service.
