Antonios Sofianos, 88, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, at Mease Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on February 12, 1937, in Moschato, Attikis, Greece, Antonios lived a full and meaningful life marked by love, dedication, and quiet strength.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah (Phelps), his cherished daughters, Katerina and Lida, and his treasured grandson, Odysseus. He also leaves behind his dear brother, Paul, along with extended family and friends whose lives he touched deeply.
Antonios will be remembered for his enduring love of family, his warmth, and the pride he took in his Greek heritage. His presence will be missed greatly, but the memories he created and the values he instilled will live on through those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor’s charity of choice, honoring Antonios’s generous and compassionate spirit.
