Antoinette always had a smile on her face and was quick to laugh. She was the greatest, most understanding mother and grandmother that anyone could ever have. She will be dearly missed.
Antoinette worked many jobs in addition to raising her children. One that she often mentioned was helping at her parents' hardware store. She also worked night jobs, and was at one point a high school lunch lady.
She loved crafts, crochet, knitting, making quilts, Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, dream catchers, Indian headdresses, wreaths, reindeer, leather pouches and so much more. She often gave them as gifts and sold them at craft shows. She loved working in her yard and sitting on her front porch, sharing her roses and gardenias with strangers walking by the house. She was health conscious before her time, practicing tai chi and drinking green smoothies. She made holidays special with her cooking. She enjoyed thrifting, collecting, playing cards, and spending days at the beach.
Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband George J. Berg, Sr., son George Jr., daughters Deborah and Sherry, daughter-in-law Deborah, parents Liberato and Sophie Desiato, brother Albert (Pat), and sister Millie (Chic).
Antoinette is survived by her sister-in-law Beverly (Tony), daughter-in-law Julie, daughters Shawn (Albert) and Samantha (Jim), and sons Joseph (Kathy) and Lawrance, grandchildren Jessica (Kenneth), Jennifer, Cheryl (John), Jeremy (Diana), Shamus (Lauren), Cody (Lee Ann), Karien, Joseph, Krystal (Sean), Tiffany (Brendan) and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Owen, Abigail, Anthony, Whit, Wesleigh, Elaynia, Emmett, Hunter, Knoxx, Konah, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
