Annette was my typing teacher at PHS.  She had us listening to the school fight song while learning to type.  She was always full of energy while teaching.  When I came back to PHS to teach in 1993, she was one of the first ones to welcome me.  She invited me to join the crew for TGIF in the backwoods of her house.  Those gatherings are some of my fondest memories of teaching at PHS!  There was a lot of laughter and good times.  After school on Friday soon became the highlight of the week.  Annette made everyone feel welcome!

When Annette retired in 1994, I took her place as a teacher in her Business Department.  During student teaching I experienced an enthusiasm that made me know I wanted to be a good teacher too.  Annette would put records on during typing class, clap that rhythm for typing, and make sure those kids knew their "business".  She loved her Plymouth Pilgrims very much.  And don't get me started with Indiana University and her memorabilia!!! I received many a pic of her precious kittens too.  She was a special person indeed!

She was very dedicated to Plymouth Hish School, Tri Kappa, the Legion and VFW. She was excellent at historical information and never forgot a thing. You will be missed immensely.
