Alice B Schmidt

Alice AKA (Alyce) Schmidt, age 92, of Spring Hill Florida, passed away Saturday April 5th, 2025, surrounded by loving family. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, relocating to Florida in 1992. Alice is preceded in death by her husband Erwin Frank Schmidt. She was a Paralegal, with an Associates Degree, and worked at a New York law firm in Trust & Estates. Alice was a gifted writer and poet, sharing her work with friends and family. Some of her poems have been published, along with those of her writer’s group. And, as a lifelong Girl Scout and leader, she gave many years of service to young women.

Surviving children include: Randy Schmidt, Debra (Edward) Kolbasiuk, Richard (Theresa) Schmidt. Her grandchildren: Jason Schmidt, Amy (Joshua) Schechter, Nicole Kolbasiuk-Beetem (Daniel), Cynthia (Brian) Garcia, Emily Kolbasiuk & Julia Kolbasiuk. And her great grandchildren: Thomas Schechter, Ezra Schechter.
