Loyce Elizabeth Reed of Glenwood, Iowa, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on February 5, 1934, in Springfield, Missouri.
Loyce, lovingly known as “Tooter,” will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ulysses “Duke” Reed; her parents; her sisters, Grace, Glenna, Velma, and Bobbie; and her brother, “Sunny.”
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Mulligan of Iowa and Leslie (Michael) Kearney of Washington; her grandchildren, Dustin, Joseph, Elizabeth, Kristine, Robbie, Danny, and Amanda; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Tooter will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Mallory and Amanda, as well as the hospice nurses, for the care, kindness, and compassion they showed Tooter during her final days. The family would also like to thank all of the family and friends who took the time to visit with her and share their love and friendship.
