He is survived by his current wife, Anna Nelson, his three sons, John, James, and Jeffery, stepchildren Sigrid and Tom, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and brother Robert. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Anne, parents, and brother William.
Larry enjoyed walking and traveling. He was a member of Nebraska Trailblazers, AVA, and IVV national walking clubs. He and his wife Anna completed planned walks in all 50 states and capitals as well as Iceland, Finland, the Baltic countries, Scotland, and Australia.
He loved playing bridge in several men’s and couple’s groups and at the Omaha Bridge Studio. He was extremely proud of being an Eagle Scout and served as a Scout leader for many years. Larry was an avid donor of blood and platelets to the Red Cross.

Funeral services will be on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 10:30AM at First Lutheran Church, 420 N Washington St, Papillion, Nebraska 68046.
