Jeannie Sue Tow

Born on June 15, 1948 , in Houston, Texas , she was the beloved daughter of the late

Robert and Ida Jean Brashier .

Jeannie was deeply dedicated to education. On December 21, 1991 , she proudly graduated Summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Education She went on to further her studies, earning a Master of Education from Concordia University on May 6, 2006 .

Jeannie was also a woman of immense warmth and creativity. She loved to crochet and spent countless hours crafting beautiful blankets for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her generosity extended into the community, where she regularly made hats and scarves for local shelters. An avid reader, Jeannie could almost always be found with her nose in a book. When she wasn't crocheting or reading, she found great joy tending to her yard, surrounded by her favorite flowers and plants.

She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 59 years, Gary Tow Sr. ; her son, Gary Tow Jr. (Joyce) and their children: Gary III (Alexandria) and their daughter Virginia; Robert Tow (partner Eve Harrison); Christian Tow (Dacia); Olivia French (Zaine); Travis Campbell (Ashlee) and their children Joanna and Owen; Kayleigh Smith (Micheal); and Crystal Campbell and her children Riland, Lillian, and Charlie.

She is also survived by her daughter, Katherine Cohen (Michael) and their children: Miranda Musil (Trenton) and their daughter Alice; Jordan Johnson; Samantha Johnson (partner Luis Perez Mesa) and their son Leandro; Michaela Cohen (Kyle Rice) and their children Lincoln and Amelia; Brandon Cohen; and Garrett Cohen (Cam).

Jeannie leaves behind her brother, Edward Brashier (Debbie) and their children Kimberly Fredericksen and Keri Brashier Austin; and her sister, Roberta Hoard (James) and their children Daniel Hoard, Marissa Lett, and Kristen Hoard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ida Jean Brashier ; her brothers, Tom and Robert Brashier ; and her sister, Dawn Bellamy .

Service Information:A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Thanksgiving Lutheran Church , located at 3702 370th Plaza, Bellevue, Nebraska. A luncheon will follow the service.
