Duane was born and raised in Bellevue and attended Bellevue High School. He was involved in many business ventures including land development, real estate, and was a true entrepreneur and successful businessman. Duane was kind-hearted, generous, fun-loving, had a great sense of humor, and was competitive and adventurous. He enjoyed fast cars, snow skiing, scuba diving, scary movies, Dave & Busters, and Yahtzee.
Duane is survived by wife Catherine Menke (McMahon); children Marlene (Dennis) Rush, Brian Menke, Chad (Justine) Menke; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Bob.
Per Duane’s wishes, there will be no service. Memorials can be directed to the American Stroke Foundation and the American Parkinson Disease Association.
